SCUBA Kids Camp

Join us at Sports Center of Morehead City for an experience that your children will never forget. Students will learn the basic skills involved in SCUBA diving from our certified PADI Professionals & get one on one training in the pool as they are taken on a guided experience.

Divers WILL NEVER be more than arms reach away from the instructor during the experience!! All equipment will be provided on site & students will be sized for a perfect fit before beginning the experience. Skills that will be taught & practiced include clearing a flooded mask, recovering a regulator, and an introduction to controlling buoyancy using the provided buoyancy compensator device. At least one legal guardian needs to be present for the experience & students will need to bring a swim suit & towel for use at the pool. Students need to be strong swimmers to participate. Once the briefing & practice is complete the students will get to experience the feeling of weightlessness as they tour the pool neutrally buoyant with the instructor. If the students choose to continue their SCUBA education after the course, some skills from the experience can be applied for credit to an Open Water Diver Certification. This once in a lifetime experience is priced at $150, which includes, one on one training with a PADI pro, rental gear, and one UNDERWATER SELFIE!!!
