Open Water Diver

Service Description

The Open Water diver course is where divers are made. The course consists of an online portion to be completed at the divers own pace before the first day of in person training. The in person portion is three days of hands on training where students will learn about their gear and how to use it effectively to access the underwater world. Hands on instruction and demonstration from a certified PADI pro will reinforce the online learning course and bring the concepts to life as you experience weightlessness and breathing under water for the first time. Day one is conducted at the pool where divers will perfect the necessary skills for diving. Day two and three will be a combination of pool time and time at a shore diving location where students can experience diving in the ocean and how to perform their skills in that area. After certification, the divers will be certified to dive as deep as 60 feet without the direct supervision of a PADI pro. They will also have met the pre requisites to sign up for the advanced open water course. **Price includes online learning materials, and all three training days. Extra training days, and rental gear is billed separately.** **Final Payment is due on day three of training.**
