Service Description
What it is: The Tec 40 CCR course is the first step for divers interested in technical diving with rebreathers, specifically Type T CCRs (which can be electronic or manual). What you'll learn: Proper setup, pre-dive checks, and dive planning for CCR diving. Basic CCR function and equipment. Failure and problem management techniques specific to CCR diving. Teamwork and communication skills for CCR dives. Decompression theory and software. Open-circuit bailout procedures. Post-dive procedures and disassembly. Course Structure: The course includes knowledge development, practical application sessions, and training dives. Prerequisites: To enroll in the Tec 40 CCR course, you typically need to be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent, a Nitrox/Enriched air diver, a Deep Diver, and have a minimum of 30 logged dives with at least 10 dives using EANx Nitrox deeper than 18 meters (60 feet).
